Needs and opportunities

The COVID-19 pandemic activated a massive shift in the way we live, work and play. While a sector of the population was able to adjust – almost seamlessly, the pandemic also highlighted the inequities faced by others in our society by exacerbating and highlighting the gaps faced by those who inherently and historically encounter barriers to education and quality physical health amenities. These include youth, the elderly and other marginalized members of our community.

Mission

To contribute to the optimal health and social well-being of the youth and seniors by providing affordable, age-appropriate programs that lead to positive development outcomes for our participants.

Vision

A vibrant, people-centered organization dedicated to building thriving lives and enriching communities for our youth and seniors.

Goals

  • • Develop social support, mentorships, and community connections
  • • Develop a structure for youth to nurture skills and facilitate the path to successful pro-sports careers
  • • Curate and deliver a nutrition program to complement physical and athletic stamina training

• Identify and mentor young athletes with scholarship potential and provide them with the resources they need to pursue further education

  • • Injury prevention programming and resources for the elderly to help them avoid age-related injuries and ailments due to lack of physical activity

Better Bone & Balance

One of the key ways to improve bone density for those living with osteoporosis is through resisted strengthening exercise.
